RAPIDS RACE

Rapids Race is a fast-paced 2-player local arcade river-racing game inspired by classic early-90s arcade games.

Race Riff the Raccoon and Ollie the Otter down dangerous rivers filled with rocks, logs, mines, rapids and Splashies. Steer around obstacles, grab Splashies and throw them at your opponent while trying to reach the finish first.

HOW TO PLAY

Player 1 — Riff

• W / A / S / D — Steer
• Z — Throw a Splashie

Player 2 — Ollie

• Arrow Keys — Steer
• M — Throw a Splashie

GAME RULES

• Race downstream and be the first player to reach the finish.
• Avoid rocks, logs and mines.
• Hitting a mine or being hit by a Splashie temporarily stops and spins your racer.
• Collect Splashies floating in the river.
• Throw Splashies downstream to slow your opponent.
• Enter white-water rapids for a temporary speed boost.
• If one racer falls behind, they stay behind — each player has their own independent view of the river.
• Watch your character's face: they smile while cruising but become worried when danger is directly ahead.
